NEWSFLASH – NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND

Trull Village Memorial Hall is now more than 60 years old and over the past couple of years, the Hall Committee have been working hard at maintaining the building, while also identifying areas to improve the Hall and protect its future. Following a recent survey several areas in the fabric of the building were identified as needing urgent attention.

We have been seeking grant funding to help finance major improvements and are delighted to announce that our recent bid for National Lottery funding to upgrade the heating and thermal efficiency for Trull Village Memorial Hall has been approved.

The National Lottery Community Fund is giving Trull Village Memorial Hall £19,164 to fund this project and help our community thrive. As another winter approaches, this essential work can finally begin.

CAR PARK MAINTENANCE – August 2025

Essential work is planned for the Memorial Hall car park on 27th and 28th August. The hall, and car park, will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians during these days.

Currently, any vehicle parked in the marked disabled space in front of the emergency exit route, at the school side of the hall, makes it impossible to make a safe exit via this route in an emergency. From 27th August, the markings on this space will change to read ‘No parking’ and this area must be kept clear at all times.

There will also be new markings directly in front of the access to the hall, to prohibit parking in front of the main entrance.

We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused and are grateful for your patience and co-operation while we make these improvements.
